When the puppies have been weaned from their mothers, our members and supporters will ‘walk the puppies’. The puppies go and live on farms and become part of the family while they grow up.
They get used to farm animals and horses and family pets. Just like any other puppy, they learn how to relate to children and people. This ensures that they are friendly and confident for the future. Puppy walkers are very important to the hunt and to the future of the hounds. Hounds never forget their walkers and will always be happy to see them at meets and events.
